Job Summary:
The role involves end-to-end procurement of mechanical components, raw materials, and spares to ensure smooth and timely support for production operations. This includes sourcing, vendor coordination, cost negotiation, and on-time material delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure mechanical components, raw materials, and spares as per production requirements.
- Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, and finalize vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and maintain adequate stock levels.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to achieve cost savings.
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Collaborate with the production and planning teams to align procurement with operational needs.
