Purchasing Specialist

Job Description

• Procurement of items viz sheet metal cabinets, wire harness, fuses, switchgear, Class C items etc.
• Releasing of POs w.r.t. MRP released by Planning Department.
• Follow-up and coordination with Suppliers for timely delivery (On time Delivery) of material
• Inventory Optimization, Controlled day-wise incoming material for space optimization at plant
• Other tasks: Supplier OTD (Delivery Rating), Buying Plan estimation, monitoring & control, Open POs monitoring, etc.
• Knowledge of Imports & Shipment Terms, Customs Clearance.
• Hands-on Experience in Supplier Management, Material Ordering, Tracking
