About the Role:
As a Purchasing & Procurement Associate, you will contribute to the procurement process by handling essential tasks related to acquiring goods and services. Your role will directly support the organization's ability to maintain a steady flow of resources, ensuring continuity in operations and helping to meet customer demand. Responsibilities:
. Assist in preparing and processing purchase requisitions and orders.
. Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
. Communicate with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
. Maintain procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality, and performance.
. Verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list clarify unclear items.
. Assist with the resolution of inventory discrepancies.
. Support inventory management by ensuring proper documentation and inventory levels.
. Follow up on overdue orders and update records accordingly.
. Respond to routine procurement inquiries.
. Assist in maintaining supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
