Working Days & Timings
- Monday to Saturday (Last Saturday Off)
- Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary Range: INR 1,00,000 – INR 1,50,000 per month
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Purchase & Logistics Manager to oversee the organization's procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods and services at the best possible quality and cost while ensuring smooth logistics and operational efficiency.
This role will manage procurement and logistics operations for Cinemas, Cafes, Celebrity Retail, and Gaming Zones from both project construction and day-to-day operational perspectives.
The Purchase & Logistics Manager will work closely with the MD, COO, and senior leadership team to ensure all procurement and logistics activities align with the company's strategic and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement effective purchasing and procurement strategies.
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Forecast purchasing needs and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Improve procurement systems, workflows, and operational efficiency.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Source, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and service agreements.
- Build and maintain strong long-term supplier relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery-related issues.
Purchasing Operations
- Oversee day-to-day purchasing activities and purchase order processing.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate closely with finance, operations, and logistics teams.
- Handle claims, returns, and discrepancies related to damaged or incorrect goods.
Budgeting & Compliance
- Manage procurement budgets and track spending.
- Prepare cost estimates and procurement reports.
- Establish quality standards for procured items.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate purchase records and supplier databases.
Team Management
- Supervise, train, and mentor purchasing staff, buyers, and procurement executives.
- Drive accountability and performance within the procurement team.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Qualification
- MBA in Operations from a reputed institute OR
- Full-time M.Com from a reputed/A-category college
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in purchase and logistics management.
- Prior experience in Retail, High-End QSRs, Multiple Restaurant Chains, or Cinema Hall Chains is preferred.
