Ø 10-12 years

Role Description:

Ø Responsible for all purchases in the organization

Ø Vendor management - discover profitable suppliers/initiate procurement partnerships/Negotiate with vendors/ensure quality & secure advantageous terms for the company.

Ø Implement procurement strategies

Ø Budgeting- keeping track on the approved budget.

Ø Generating standard purchase procedures and documents

Ø Consistently evaluate vendor performance, hunting for new vendors, Examine and test existing vendors

Ø Analyse offers and negotiation with the vendors,

Ø Preparing purchase order related documents

Ø Follow up for timely delivery of materials

Ø Handle scrap sales / disposal based on approved site team reconciliation statements.

Ø Co-ordinate with site team

Ø Devise and use fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies

Ø Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Ø Control spend & build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs

Qualifications

Should have work experience in Builders & Developers Companies / Construction companies
Bachelor's degree preferably from Civil / Mechanical engineering Or Diploma (civil / mechanical), Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably within real estate, construction, or related industries.
Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and standard office productivity tools.
Candidates should possess strong procurement and purchasing skills, including vendor sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
Candidates should possess skills in budgeting, cost analysis, and inventory management to support efficient and cost-effective project delivery.
Candidates should possess skills in project coordination and cross-functional collaboration, working with construction, engineering, and finance teams.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors in a professional manner.
Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
