Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to handle end-to-end procurement operations. The role involves sourcing raw materials, customized items, and add-ons, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging, customized items, and add-ons
- Identify and develop reliable vendor networks
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid stock-outs or production delays
- Monitor inventory levels and align purchasing with demand planning
- Maintain purchase records, documentation, and MIS reports
- Ensure quality standards and compliance from vendors
- Work closely with production, warehouse, and finance teams
- Track market trends and price fluctuations for cost optimization
Key Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement / purchasing
- Mandatory experience in FMCG brands
- Strong knowledge of raw material sourcing and vendor management
- Experience in handling customized procurement requirements
- Excellent negotiation and cost management skills
- Good understanding of inventory planning and supply chain coordination
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
