Our manufacturing facilities in MIDC Maharashtra and GIDC Gujarat serve global industries including coatings, printing inks, adhesives, and construction chemicals.

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations across our manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, managing supplier relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring uninterrupted procurement to support production requirements. This is a high-impact leadership role best suited for professionals with strong experience in the polymer or specialty chemicals industry.

10+ Years

Western Suburbs, Mumbai

₹12–20 LPA (Depending on Experience & Expertise)

• Lead end-to-end procurement of raw materials, chemicals, polymers, packaging materials, consumables, and engineering items.
• Develop sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance.
• Ensure uninterrupted availability of materials to meet production schedules.

• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop reliable domestic and international suppliers.
• Build long-term strategic supplier relationships.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and periodic commercial reviews.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, contracts, and annual procurement agreements.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and value engineering.
• Monitor commodity and raw material price trends to optimize purchasing decisions.

• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Stores, and Logistics teams.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs.
• Ensure timely procurement aligned with production forecasts and customer commitments.

• Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and audit requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, purchase orders, vendor contracts, and approvals.
• Support ISO documentation and internal/external audits.

• Lead and mentor the purchase team.
• Establish procurement KPIs and monitor department performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement operations.

Education

M.Sc. and/or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management (minimum qualification)

Experience

Minimum 10 years in Purchase/Procurement within the Polymer Industry

Industry

Mandatory: Polymer Industry experience

Location
