Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for a Purchasing Executive. The individual will handle purchase orders and requisitions, manage procurement activities, and ensure that purchases meet quality, budgetary, and schedule requirements. Responsibilities also include liaising with vendors, maintaining procurement records, and negotiating contracts or agreements as needed. Collaboration with internal teams to streamline procurement processes and support organizational needs will also be part of the role.

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding and experience in Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Management
  • Expertise in Procurement processes, including vendor selection and contract negotiation
  • Excellent Communication skills for collaboration with vendors and internal teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in procurement software or related tools is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with ethical purchasing practices and cost management is desirable
