Job Title: Senior Purchase Engineer

Responsibilities
- Procure castings, raw materials, and mechanical components as per BOM.
- Develop and manage vendors; monitor supplier performance.
- Ensure timely material availability for machinery assembly.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and lead times for cost optimization.
- Handle SAP/ERP procurement (PRs, POs, GRNs).
- Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Planning teams.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for accurate procurement.
- Ensure compliance with pharma standards and internal procedures.
- Resolve supplier issues (quality, delivery, technical deviations).
- Support audits, documentation, and vendor assessments.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of mechanical components, castings, machining, and raw materials.
- Hands‑on SAP/ERP procurement experience.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of GMP/pharma equipment standards preferred.
- Leadership capability to guide junior purchase staff.
