Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Executive located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Purchasing Executive will oversee the preparation and management of purchase orders and requisitions, coordinate procurement activities, and maintain effective communication with suppliers to source materials and ensure timely delivery. Daily tasks include monitoring stock levels, negotiating with vendors for cost-effective solutions, and ensuring that all purchasing activities comply with company policies. The role also involves maintaining records of purchase transactions and analyzing procurement data for efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience- 2-5 years
• Proficiency in Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Management
• Strong understanding of E-Commerce Platform, Procurement processes, and supplier negotiations
• Excellent Communication skills, including collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in data analysis and maintaining accurate records
• Educational background in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred
• Experience in inventory and supply chain management systems is an advantage
