Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive for a leading corporate interior designing company based in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in procurement, vendor management, and material sourcing within the interior design, fit-out, or corporate interiors industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement of materials, cost optimization, and maintaining quality standards for ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of materials related to corporate interior projects including furniture, fixtures, fittings, electricals, lighting, hardware, veneers, laminates, civil materials, and site-related requirements
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers for best pricing and quality
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and develop new vendor networks
- Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and ensure timely approvals
- Track deliveries and coordinate with project teams for material dispatch and site requirements
- Ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and budget constraints
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain procurement records and documentation
- Conduct market research for new products, pricing trends, and supplier performance
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice processing and payment follow-ups
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes in corporate interiors/interior fit-outs
- Good vendor management and negotiation skills
- Understanding of materials used in interior designing projects
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software for purchase management
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred background in Supply Chain, Commerce, or Interior-related field)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in purchase/procurement for interior designing or fit-out companies
- Experience in corporate interiors will be highly preferred
