Job Description

  • Handle endtoend procurement for reagents, chemicals, plastics, antibodies, filters, and packaging materials.
  • Manage sourcing, evaluation, pricing discussions, and vendor on-boarding.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee procurement cycles in SAP and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Track supplier performance and identify alternate/local suppliers.
  • Coordinate daily with production, QA, R&D, and regulatory teams.
  • Support new product development through timely procurement of trial and validation materials.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Purchase/Procurement Specialist should have:

  • 8+ years of procurement experience in IVD, diagnostics, reagents, pathology, or medical devices manufacturing.
  • Strong experience sourcing biochemicals, antibodies, plastics, and IVDspecific materials.
  • Proven experience in vendor development (evaluation, qualification, and on-boarding).
  • Strong negotiation and commercial judgement.
  • High attention to detail and compliance orientation.
  • Worked within ISO 13485/GMP environments.
  • Experience handling import procurement and customs documentation.
  • Proficiency in SAP procurement workflows.
  • Good analytical skills in inventory and cost management.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and effective in managing supply risks.
