Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Purchase/Procurement Executive with a strong background in the furniture industry to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor development, negotiating contracts, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials that meet quality standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/vendors for furniture, raw materials, fittings, and fixtures.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.
• Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and timely delivery standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and plan purchase requirements accordingly.
• Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in compliance with company policies.
• Track, review, and maintain procurement records, invoices, and reports.
• Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to understand material requirements.
• Regularly evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and cost fluctuations.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement in procurement activities.

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Mandatory: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in purchase/procurement in the furniture industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of sourcing materials like wood, plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, and other furniture-related items.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, or procurement software.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
