We are seeking a proactive and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team in Noida. The

Purchase Manager will primarily focus on sourcing materials and services required for our

operations, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the timely and

cost-effective acquisition of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute purchase strategies to meet the company's operational needs and

cost objectives, with a focus on purchasing materials and services required for our

operations.

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and negotiate

contracts and terms to obtain the best value for Superplum.

  • Manage the purchase process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate

fulfillment of orders while maintaining inventory levels.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide

procurement support and guidance.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, potential suppliers, and

cost-saving opportunities specific to purchasing materials and services.

  • Evaluate supplier performance, monitor compliance with contract terms, and address

any issues or concerns related to purchases.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and

continuous improvement in purchasing processes.

  • Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure

compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing activities, including cost savings,

supplier performance, and inventory levels related to materials and services.

  • Stay updated on industry developments, market conditions, and emerging trends in

purchasing and supply chain management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree /Diploma with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in purchasing
  • In-depth knowledge of purchasing processes, sourcing strategies, and contract

negotiation techniques specific to materials and services procurement.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify

trends, and make data-driven decisions related to purchasing.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain

relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented

approach.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and

manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in purchasing and supply

chain management.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to visit suppliers and attend industry events or

conferences.
