Position: Purchase Manager

Stefen Electric Pvt. Ltd., a sister company of Steadfast Engineers LLP, is looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with strong hands-on experience in the Lithium-Ion Battery / Battery Manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities.
• Source lithium-ion battery cells, BMS, nickel strips, connectors, wires, enclosures, electronic components and other raw materials.
• Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers/vendors.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, quality and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs).
• Ensure timely availability of materials for production.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery and material quality.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality and Accounts departments.
• Develop alternate vendors to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Analyze quotations and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain purchase records, MIS and vendor documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• Mandatory: Experience in Lithium-Ion Battery / Battery Manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of battery components and electrical/electronic raw materials.
• Strong vendor development and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, MIS and Purchase Order management.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently handle procurement activities.

Salary

35,000 – 70,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
