Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors for material procurement and labor supply.
- Compare quotations and prepare detailed comparative statements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Coordinate with site project managers to review product quality and specifications.
- Handle correspondence with suppliers and transporters regarding shortages or rejections.
- Maintain vendor database including quantities, pricing, and order history.
- Keep updated records of purchased materials, delivery schedules, and payments.
- Prepare purchase reports including cost analysis and savings tracking.
- Maintain progressive project-wise expenditure statements.
- Procure materials as per BOQ in consultation with site teams and place orders accordingly.
