Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Purchase Manager. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, and maintaining inventory levels. They will collaborate closely with internal teams to forecast product demand and work to establish strong supplier relationships. Monitoring market trends and ensuring the consistent quality of materials will also be key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Procurement and Vendor Management
- Knowledge of Inventory Management and Supply Chain Processes
- Strong Negotiation and Analytical Skills
- Detail-oriented with exceptional multitasking and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience in the food or confectionery manufacturing industry is a plus
