Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi for a Purchase Manager in the Food and Beverage (F&B) sector. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for sourcing and procuring quality ingredients, maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, assessing inventory levels, and overseeing supply chain processes. Additional responsibilities include monitoring market trends, managing budgets, ensuring timely delivery of supplies, and collaborating with bakery operations to align procurement with production needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year work experience
- Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and inventory control
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of supply chain operations and cost optimization strategies
- Understanding of F&B industry standards, food safety regulations, and quality control
- Proficiency in using procurement systems/software and analyzing market trends
- Prior experience in the food and beverage or retail industry is highly desirable
