Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with strong knowledge of the solar industry and international procurement. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing solar components, vendor management, price negotiation, and ensuring timely procurement of materials from domestic and international suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of solar components such as modules, inverters, structures, cables, and BOS materials.
- Identify and develop domestic and international suppliers for solar products.
- Handle price negotiation, purchase orders, and contract finalization with vendors.
- Monitor international market trends and pricing in the solar industry.
- Coordinate with logistics teams for import shipments and documentation.
- Ensure cost optimization and quality standards for all purchased materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate vendor performance.
- Coordinate with project, sales, and warehouse teams for procurement planning.
- Ensure proper inventory planning and stock management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of solar PV components procurement.
- Experience with international suppliers and import processes.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement planning.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in ERP / Excel / procurement software.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering / supply chain / business administration.
- MBA in Supply Chain or Operations will be an advantage.
