We are seeking experienced and dynamic Vendor Development to join our company Boatload Minds Private Limited. As a Vendor Developer, you will be responsible for handling a team and customizing the solutions for the growth of the Organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Vendor Development, Procurement, or
- Supply Chain (freshers with strong interest may also apply).
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing sector (Sheet Metal, Plastic & Rubber
- materials preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn vendor selection, evaluation, and management processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and evaluating potential vendors based on company requirements.
- Support the onboarding process of new vendors under senior guidance.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, samples, and basic documentation.
- Maintain and update vendor databases and records.
- Assist in monitoring vendor performance and escalate issues to senior team members.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Learn and support vendor negotiation, contract handling, and cost analysis activities.
- Stay updated with basic industry trends, materials, and vendor practices
