Job Description

Job Title: Purchase & Store Executive

Job Summary

The Purchase & Store Executive is responsible for managing procurement and store operations, ensuring timely availability of materials, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and following cost-effective purchasing practices. The role involves vendor coordination, negotiation, inventory control, and compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines

Prepare and process purchase orders as per operational requirements

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors

Ensure timely procurement to support uninterrupted operations

Maintain optimal stock levels and oversee inventory control in coordination with stores

Verify invoices and coordinate with the Accounts team for timely payments

Ensure all purchased goods meet required quality standards

Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and vendor details

Coordinate with internal departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, etc.) for requirements

Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Purchase & Store Executive in a star hotel

Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

Good communication and coordination abilities

Handle Additional Responsibilities As Directed By The Reporting Manager

Adhere to and implement all company policies and procedures

Serve as a brand ambassador by ensuring consistent brand representation and integrity
