Purchase Executive manages the procurement process, sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery. They handle purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and update records to support business operations. Key skills include negotiation, analytical thinking, and proficiency in ERP software.Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Management: Research, evaluate, and select suppliers, while negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing.Procurement Processing: Create and manage purchase orders (POs) and track deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment.Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with departments to prevent shortages or overstocking.Cost Management: Analyze market trends to implement cost-saving initiatives and ensure best-value procurement.Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and contracts, adhering to company policies and compliance standards.Required Skills and QualificationsExperience: Proven work experience as a Purchase Executive, Purchasing Officer, or similar role (often 2–4 years).Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
