Purchase Executive manages the procurement cycle, including sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods/services to optimize costs and quality. They maintain inventory levels, process orders, and build supplier relationships to support production schedules. Key skills include negotiation, analytical abilities, and ERP software proficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Sourcing & Management: Research, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment terms to secure best value.Order Processing: Create and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, ensuring supply chain continuity.Supplier Performance: Track supplier performance, resolve disputes, and address quality issues or delivery delays.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and delivery information.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Experience: Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Buyer, or in a similar procurement role.Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP/purchasing software (e.g., SAP).Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.Common Performance IndicatorsAccuracy of purchasing data and documentation.Cost savings achieved through negotiation.On-time delivery performance.Supplier quality ratin
