Astam Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of experience in procurement of Raw Materials and Packing Materials within a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Unit. The role involves vendor management, procurement planning, inventory coordination, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new vendors and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Verify vendor credentials and monitor market pricing.
• Procure raw materials and packing materials as per production requirements.
• Maintain supplier records and inventory details.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for timely procurement.
• Monitor stock levels to avoid production delays.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Track supplier deliveries and resolve procurement issues.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
• Assist in procurement cost analysis and budgeting.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in Raw Material & Packing Material Purchasing.
• Experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
• Excellent Vendor Development and Negotiation skills.
• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Strong Organizational and Analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
