Astam Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Purchase Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 4–5 years of experience in procurement of Raw Materials and Packing Materials within a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Unit. The role involves vendor management, procurement planning, inventory coordination, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new vendors and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Verify vendor credentials and monitor market pricing.
- Procure raw materials and packing materials as per production requirements.
- Maintain supplier records and inventory details.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for timely procurement.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid production delays.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Track supplier deliveries and resolve procurement issues.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Assist in procurement cost analysis and budgeting.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- 4–5 years of experience in Raw Material & Packing Material Purchasing.
- Experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes.
- Excellent Vendor Development and Negotiation skills.
- Good Communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Strong Organizational and Analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
