Purchase Engineer

As a Purchase Engineer, he will be responsible for overseeing

the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of

goods, services, and equipment required by the organization. You will collaborate

with internal departments, suppliers, and vendors to secure the best possible terms

and prices for purchases while maintaining high-quality standards.

1. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their

capabilities, pricing, and product quality.

2. Develop and maintain relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking

new sources to expand the supplier base.

3. Evaluate purchase requisitions and create purchase orders (PO) in accordance with

company policies and procedures.

4. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable

agreements for the organization.

5. Monitor and track supplier performance, including delivery times, quality, and

adherence to contractual obligations.
