Position -
Purchase Engineer or Executive
Location - Kolkata
Responsibilities
- Sourcing, acquiring and managing construction materials (e.g., Cement, Steel, Sand, Bricks, Granite, Marbles etc.)
- Purchase planning
- Vendor negotiation
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering and Design teams to understand material requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules based on project timelines and budgets.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials
- Generate PO
- Maintain a harmonious relation with the suppliers
- Forecast material needs and accordingly contact with suppliers to ensure no shortage of stock
