Key Responsibilities:
Procurement and Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply on time always with required quantity and quality with proper documentation.
Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all packaging materials meet the company's quality standards and specifications.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
Cost Management: Develop and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on quality.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and innovations in packaging to keep the company competitive.
Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Packaging. Having certification in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is added advantage.
Proven experience in procurement, preferably in packaging from a toy industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (SAP MM).
