We are looking for a skilled Purchase Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and services, developing supplier relationships, and ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply of materials and services.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize purchasing strategies.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Manage and resolve any issues related to procurement, delivery, and supplier performance.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Ability to analyze data and market trends effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
