Purchase Coordinator

Location: Realply Industries Pvt. Ltd., Halalpur, Sonipat

Timings: 10:00 AM 7:00 PM

Package: 3 lpa to 7 lpa

Experience: 3 to 5 yrs

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Coordinator with hands-on experience in import and export operations. The ideal candidate will manage procurement activities, coordinate with international suppliers, oversee shipment processes, and ensure timely availability of materials essential for production.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure quality and timely procurement.
  • Prepare purchase orders and track deliveries against requirements.

Import & Export Coordination

  • Handle complete import and export documentation including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO, BOE, and LC-related documents.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, logistics partners, and customs officials.
  • Monitor shipment schedules, track consignments, and ensure smooth clearance at ports.
  • Ensure compliance with DGFT, customs regulations, and international trade policies.

Material Planning & Inventory

  • Coordinate with production, stores, and planning teams to understand material requirements.
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels and monitor stock movements.

Cost & Compliance Management

  • Negotiate freight rates and optimize import/export costs.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to statutory regulations.
  • Maintain updated records of purchases, imports, exports, and relevant licenses.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with internal teamsfinance, operations, logisticsfor seamless workflow.
  • Prepare MIS reports related to procurement, shipment status, pricing, and vendor performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, International Business, or a related field.
  • 25 years of experience in procurement and import/export operations.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping terms (Incoterms), customs rules, and logistics processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and documentation handling.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience with manufacturing or industrial products.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple vendors.
