Job Description

  • Develop and implement an effective procurement strategy for sourcing raw materials, chemicals, and other supplies required for the production of synthetic resins. This strategy should align with the company's overall objectives and cost-saving targets.
  • Identify and build relationships with reliable suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors of raw materials in the printing ink, adhesive, and construction chemical industries. Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with vendors to secure the best prices and delivery terms.
  • Continuously review and analyze procurement costs to identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining the desired quality standards. Implement measures to reduce procurement expenses without compromising quality and efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure a steady supply of materials to meet production demands. Minimize stock outs and excess inventory by closely monitoring consumption patterns and production schedules.
  • Collaborate with the quality control department to ensure that purchased materials meet the required specifications and quality standards. Address any quality issues with vendors promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance.
  • Stay updated with market trends, industry developments, and innovations in synthetic resin materials and related industries. Use this knowledge to make informed decisions regarding supplier selection and material sourcing.
  • Lead and supervise a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their performance and productivity.
