We are seeking a skilled Pumps Technician with 5-10 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various pump systems used in industrial applications. The role requires a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve pump-related issues efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of pumps including centrifugal, positive displacement, and submersible pumps.
- Troubleshoot pump systems and identify issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal pump operation.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineering teams to improve pump performance and reliability.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed on pump systems in accordance with company policies.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operators on pump operation and maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in pump maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and pump mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Familiarity with various types of pumps and their applications in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
