A role in the Healthcare — Hospital & Clinical Services sector focused on acute care and critical-care delivery across cardiology, pulmonology and intensive care units. We are hiring for a senior clinical specialist to join an on-site tertiary-level team serving hospitals and high-dependency units across India. Primary title: Consultant Intensivist (Critical Care Specialist) — candidates who are Non‑Invasive Cardiologists or Pulmonologists with ICU exposure are encouraged to apply.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day clinical management of critically ill adults in the ICU: assess, stabilise, and direct ongoing treatment plans.
- Manage mechanical ventilation, advanced airway care, hemodynamic monitoring, and titration of vasoactive medications for complex patients.
- Perform and interpret bedside diagnostics relevant to specialty: transthoracic echocardiography, ECG interpretation, ABG analysis, and point-of-care ultrasound where applicable.
- Lead multidisciplinary rounds with physicians, nursing, respiratory therapy, and allied teams to optimise care pathways and discharge plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies, lead ACLS protocols, and train/mentor junior clinicians and nursing staff in critical-care procedures and escalation protocols.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, participate in ICU audits, quality-improvement projects, and follow institutional infection-control and patient-safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
- MD/DNB or equivalent in Critical Care/General Medicine/Cardiology/Pulmonology or recognised specialty qualification.
- Proven ICU experience with hands-on mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic management.
- Competence in transthoracic echocardiography and ECG interpretation (for cardiology applicants) or advanced airway and respiratory management (for pulmonology applicants).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or institutional equivalent.
- Valid medical registration to practise in India and ability to work on-site full time.
Preferred
- Certification or documented training in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) or critical-care ultrasound.
- Experience in sepsis management bundles, ARDS protocols, and ICU quality-improvement initiatives.
- Prior exposure to multidisciplinary tertiary-care environments or teaching hospitals.
