We're expanding our publisher supply team and looking for a seasoned relationship builder who can unlock high-quality O&O inventory across CTV and in-app environments.

Role Overview

As Publisher Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and signing direct supply partnerships with top-tier owned-and-operated (O&O) CTV and in-app publishers. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for publisher relationships, driving strategic growth of StrongMetrics premium inventory stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source, develop, and close direct integration deals with O&O publishers across CTV streaming apps, mobile gaming, and in-app environments
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to accelerate partnership timelines and secure premium, brand-safe inventory
  • Negotiate deal terms, including preferred pricing, floor management, header bidding, and direct deal structures
  • Collaborate with yield, product, and ad operations teams to ensure seamless publisher onboarding and technical integration
  • Manage ongoing publisher relationships, proactively identifying upsell and expansion opportunities
  • Represent StrongMetrics at industry events, trade shows, and publisher summits (e.g., IAB, AdExchanger, CES)
  • Track and report on pipeline activity, revenue targets, and partnership KPIs using CRM tools
  • Provide market intelligence on publisher trends, competitive landscape, and emerging inventory channels
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in publisher development, supply partnerships, or programmatic sales within adtech
  • Established, verifiable relationships with key decision-makers at top O&O CTV publishers (e.g., Peacock, Pluto TV, Tubi, Samsung Ads, LG Channels) and/or major in-app publishers
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem - SSPs, DSPs, header bidding, PMP/PG deals, OpenRTB
  • Proven track record of closing supply partnerships and exceeding revenue targets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working at or alongside a DSP, SSP, data platform, or independent programmatic marketplace
  • Familiarity with VAST/VPAID, SSAI, and CTV-specific ad delivery standards
  • Understanding of in-app SDK integrations and mobile measurement partners (MMPs)
  • Active network within IAB, MRC, or relevant programmatic industry bodies
  • Experience with supply quality, invalid traffic (IVT) mitigation, and brand safety frameworks
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary + commission structure tied to supply revenue
  • Equity participation in a high-growth programmatic platform
  • Flexible remote or hybrid work environment
  • Travel budget for publisher meetings and industry events
  • Opportunity to shape the supply strategy at a company scaling fast in CTV and in-app
