Public Relations (PR) Executive is a communications professional responsible for managing a company's public image, handling media relations, and driving brand awareness. They bridge the gap between an organization and its audiences, crafting messaging that builds trust, protects reputation, and supports business goals.Core ResponsibilitiesMedia Relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers to secure positive media coverage and maximize brand exposure.Content Creation: Draft high-quality press releases, media pitches, company statements, newsletters, and social media copy.Campaign Execution: Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns, brand activations, and promotional events.Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage, compile coverage clippings, and analyze PR return on investment (ROI).Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the company, investors, collaborators, and the general public.Crisis Management: Assist senior PR leads in preparing for and navigating sensitive public issues to preserve the corporate image.Key Skills & RequirementsCommunication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (and local languages, as needed).Media Savviness: Strong understanding of the local and national media landscape, digital publishing, and influencer ecosystems.Organization: Project management skills with the ability to handle tight deadlines and organize press events.Education: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, or English.Experience: Often 1–4 years of experience, though entry-level roles are common for fresh graduates.
