Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Public Relations Specialist. The Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for creating and distributing press releases, managing media relations, and developing and implementing strategic communications. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining positive relationships between clients and the media.

Qualifications

Experience in developing and executing strategic public relations and communication plans

Experience in creating and distributing press releases

Experience in managing media relations, including pitching to media outlets and securing placements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong writing and editing skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Experience in the education, technology, agriculture, or cybersecurity sectors is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
