If you're curious, detail-oriented and enjoy research, communications and organisation, this internship offers hands-on exposure to how strategic PR campaigns are developed and executed.

What You'll Do

As a Public Relations, Media Research & Communications Intern, you will support both our PR campaigns and agency operations by:

• Researching and compiling advertising, editorial and sponsored content rates from Singapore and ASEAN media outlets.
• Researching social media influencers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including audience demographics, engagement, collaboration rates and contact information.
• Maintaining and updating the agency's media, journalist and KOL databases using Microsoft Excel.
• Creating targeted media and KOL lists tailored to each client's industry, campaign objectives and target audience.
• Assisting with media monitoring and tracking editorial and social media coverage.
• Compiling PR reports that demonstrate campaign outcomes and earned media value.
• Using AI tools to streamline research, media monitoring and administrative tasks while learning where editorial judgement remains essential.
• Supporting the team with general PR administration, campaign coordination and communications.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Curious and enjoys research and information gathering.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team.
• A strong communicator with excellent written English and professional business communication skills.
• Possesses high emotional intelligence and professionalism when interacting with media and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with data and maintaining accurate records in Microsoft Excel.

Must-have Qualifications

• Ability to accurately manage and update media, journalist and KOL databases using Microsoft Excel
• Ability to use AI tools to support research, media monitoring and administrative workflows
• ⁠Must be located in Singapore

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Canva or other AI-powered communication, presentation or design tools
• Experience in social media management
• Familiarity with agentic AI tools
• Ability to read and write Mandarin; knowledge of Cantonese is an advantage
