About the Role
SRV Media is looking for an experienced Public Relations Manager to lead media relations, brand communication, and reputation management initiatives for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, and industry stakeholders, along with the ability to create impactful PR strategies that enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Key Responsibilities
PR Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with client and business objectives.
Create communication plans for product launches, corporate announcements, events, and brand campaigns.
Identify media opportunities that drive positive brand awareness and thought leadership.
Media Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, publishers, and media professionals.
Secure high-quality media coverage across print, digital, television, radio, and industry publications.
Pitch stories, interviews, opinion pieces, and press releases to relevant media outlets.
Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews for clients and leadership teams.
Content & Communication
Draft and review press releases, media notes, speeches, articles, thought leadership content, and corporate communications.
Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
Develop compelling brand narratives and storytelling opportunities.
Reputation & Crisis Management
Monitor media coverage and public sentiment related to clients and brands.
Manage crisis communication strategies and response plans when required.
Provide strategic counsel on reputation management and corporate communication matters.
Client Management
Act as the primary point of contact for PR clients.
Present PR strategies, campaign performance, and media outcomes to clients.
Collaborate with internal teams including Social Media, Creative, Performance Marketing, and Account Management.
Influencer & Industry Relations
Identify and engage influencers, industry experts, and strategic partners for brand collaborations.
Coordinate media events, press conferences, networking events, and brand activations.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Media Relations.
Strong network of media contacts acros regional, and industry-specific publications.
Proven track record of securing media coverage and managing successful PR campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong storytelling, content writing, and presentation abilities.
Experience handling multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage crisis situations effectively.
Preferred Skills
Experience in a PR agency, digital agency, or corporate communications environment.
Understanding of social media, digital marketing, and brand communication.
Experience with media monitoring and PR reporting tools.
Strong influencer marketing and relationship management skills.
Experience working with Education, Real Estate, Healthcare, Technology, FMCG, or Consumer Brands.
