About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic PR Manager with 46 years of PR agency experience to lead client relationships, drive impactful communication strategies, and ensure seamless execution of PR campaigns. The ideal candidate will be adept at media relations, client servicing, team management, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and build strong, long-term relationships.
- Understand client business objectives and translate them into effective PR and communication strategies.
- Lead regular client meetings, status calls, reporting, and performance reviews.
- Develop and execute integrated PR campaigns aligned with brand and business goals.
- Drive proactive media outreach and secure high-quality coverage across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and key media stakeholders.
- Manage press conferences, media briefings and industry events.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify relevant story angles and opportunities.
- Provide strategic counsel during sensitive issues and support crisis communication when required.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure quality output and timely delivery.
- Track campaign performance, analyse media coverage, and prepare detailed monthly/quarterly reports with actionable insights.
- Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Support new business development through pitch strategy, proposal creation, and presentations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 46 years of experience in a PR agency environment.
- Proven ability to independently manage multiple client accounts.
- Strong and active media network across key publications and digital platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking capabilities.
- Strategic thinking with a solution-oriented and results-driven approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
