Who We Are:

Trosmic Sports is building a next-generation global sports and entertainment platform from its headquarters in Dubai. The company is launching the World Kabaddi Champions League (WKCL) the first IKF-approved global professional Kabaddi league featuring 8 international franchises and a multi-decade roadmap spanning media, infrastructure, and digital innovation.

At the heart of this ecosystem is Flux Halo, a $2B+ landmark arena project in the GCC a smart, immersive, multi-use venue designed for elite sport, global entertainment, esports, and major cultural events. Alongside a digital-first fan ecosystem (OTT, Web3, NFTs, esports, data-driven engagement), Trosmic Sports is positioned as a first mover at the intersection of infrastructure, technology, and the global sports economy.

About The Role:

The Public Relations Manager will help shape and scale Trosmic Sports public narrative across the GCC, India, and priority global markets. This role sits at the intersection of sports PR, corporate communications, event publicity, and brand storytelling.

You will drive day-to-day PR execution, manage media relationships, support executive visibility, coordinate announcements, and protect brand reputationespecially through high-tempo periods like launches, signings, partnerships, live events, and crises.

What You'll Do:

1) Media Relations & Coverage

  • Build and maintain strong ties with journalists and editors across sports, business, and tech beats globally.
  • Drive consistent coverage through high-quality features, interviews, podcasts, and op-eds.
  • Efficiently manage incoming queries, coordinating approvals and official statements.
  • Continually grow targeted media lists across key markets including GCC, India, MENA, and US/Europe.

2) Strategic Messaging & Narrative

  • Translate complex company strategies into compelling messaging for the corporate, league, and athlete stories.
  • Draft press releases, media advisories, briefing notes, and executive talk tracks.
  • Ensure a unified brand voice across press, social media, investor materials, and partner communications.
  • Position leadership and talent through keynote opportunities and thought-leadership placements.

3) Event PR & Launch Operations

  • Lead PR for press conferences, team reveals, sponsor announcements, and auctions.
  • Coordinate media accreditation, mixed zones, press seating, and hospitality during live events.
  • Partner with production teams to ensure PR moments align with broadcast storylines.
  • Manage the PR calendar, press kits, and archival of media assets.

4) Crisis & Reputation Management

  • Proactively track media sentiment and potential risks related to integrity, injuries, or controversies.
  • Execute crisis playbooks and holding statements during live events or reputational threats.
  • Coordinate sensitive communications with legal, operations, and leadership teams.

5) Agency, Partner & Performance Management

  • Manage regional PR agencies, including briefing, deliverables, and performance reviews.
  • Align messaging and timing with broadcasters, sponsors, and franchises.
  • Work with social/content teams to amplify earned media and manage influencer PR.
  • Track coverage quality, sentiment, and share of voice to produce weekly performance reports.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

  • Media Impact & Narrative Pull-Through: Measure the volume and quality of Tier-1 earned media coverage (broadcast, print, and digital) while tracking the consistency of key narratives and Share of Voice against competitors in core markets.
  • Operational Excellence & Reputation Health: Evaluate the success of press events through attendance and interview completion rates, alongside monitoring the sentiment ratio and the team's efficiency in issue containment and crisis mitigation.

What You'll Need:

Experience: 10-12 years in PR (In-house or Agency) with a proven track record in sports, entertainment, or major global events.

Strategic Communication: Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to draft everything from Tier 1 pitches and press releases to executive briefing notes.

Media Savvy: Strong existing relationships and a deep understanding of the modern media landscape, including digital publishers, podcasts, and social-first outlets.

Market & Event Expertise: Experience in the GCC or India markets, specifically managing high-visibility launches, stadium operations, or broadcast/OTT deal announcements.

Operational Resilience: An operator mindset that thrives under tight deadlines and is comfortable working non-traditional hours during live match weeks or global launches.

Crisis & Judgment: Sound professional discretion with experience in reputation management and navigating complex stakeholder approvals.

Language & Tools: Native-level fluency in English (Arabic or Hindi is a major plus) and proficiency in PR tech stacks like Meltwater, Cision, or equivalent analytics tools.
