Job Description:
The Junior PR Manager Hospitality & F&B will work closely with internal teams to develop media strategies, engage with media professionals, execute public relations campaigns, and ensure smooth communication throughout client projects. Key Responsibilities:
Draft Press Materials: Prepare high-quality press releases, listing notes, pitch
notes, product notes, media FAQs, and other materials aligned with client objectives and industry best practices.
Media Relations: Build and maintain media lists relevant to hospitality & fnb, send media invites, conduct follow-ups with journalists, bloggers, and influencers, and engage in media rounds to secure placements.
Event Coordination: Support event planning and execution, including developing checklists, managing logistics, assembling media kits, and preparing post-event reports.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly reports, including cost-benefit analysis (CBA), daily news monitoring, work-in-progress (WIP) updates, and track the effectiveness of campaigns.
Research Support: Conduct secondary research for press releases, business development pitches, concept notes, and quarterly or annual plans, providing valuable insights.
Client Communication: Respond promptly to client communication, send meeting minutes (MoMs) within 24 hours, and provide regular updates, reports, and work-in-progress status.
Media Opportunity Mapping: Identify relevant media opportunities, including potential award platforms for client submissions, and track industry trends and key publications.
Content Collation: Organize, assemble, and print media kits for client meetings and events to ensure all materials are prepared professionally.
Campaign Execution: Assist with daily PR activities to support the execution of PR plans, track deadlines, ensure timely deliverables, and maintain high-quality standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in PR or a media-related role.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficient in social media platforms and online communication tools.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
Knowledge of media databases, influencers, and industry trends is a plus.
