Public Relations Manager (from a PR agency only)

As a Public Relations Professional, you will be responsible for managing the public image and reputation of our organization. You will work to build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders including media outlets, customers, investors, and the general public. Your role will involve crafting compelling narratives, coordinating media campaigns, organizing events, and handling crisis communications. Your ultimate goal will be to enhance the visibility and reputation of our organization while effectively communicating our messages to the target audience.

Experience required: 4 - 6 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and other media professionals.
• Pitch stories, press releases, and other materials to media outlets to secure coverage.
• Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media briefings.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on media metrics and sentiment.
• Write and edit press releases, articles, speeches, blog posts, and other communication materials.
• Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels.
• Serve as a spokesperson during crisis situations, providing timely and accurate information to the media and the public.
• Monitor social media and other online platforms for potential issues and proactively address them.
• Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Respond to inquiries and feedback from stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications.
• Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
• The position may involve working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
