We are seeking an experienced and strategic PR Manager to lead integrated communication mandates for our BFSI and Capital Markets clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial markets, excellent media relationships, robust client-handling skills, and the ability to drive end-to-end PR strategies with confidence and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of PR strategies for BFSI and Capital Markets clients.
- Manage client relationships independently and act as a trusted strategic communication advisor.
- Build, nurture, and leverage strong networks with financial, capital markets, business, and mainstream media.
- Develop and review high-quality content including press releases, market updates, earnings announcements, authored articles, investor-focused narratives, briefs, and communication notes.
- Drive media outreach, story pitching, financial narrative building, and consistent coverage delivery across print, digital, and broadcast platforms.
- Support communication around IPO announcements, fund launches, quarterly results, mergers, acquisitions, and market-led developments, where applicable.
- Handle crisis communication, reputation management, and sensitive financial communication for clients.
- Plan and coordinate interviews, media briefings, press conferences, analyst interactions, and sector-specific events.
- Track industry trends, regulatory updates (SEBI, RBI, IRDAI), capital market movements, and competitive insights to strengthen client communication strategies.
- Oversee account operations, reporting, team coordination, and ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
- Mentor, guide, and supervise junior team members to enhance overall team performance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong PR experience within BFSI and/or Capital Markets, or proven experience handling BFSI clients.
- Sound understanding of capital markets, equity and debt instruments, investments, financial regulations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, writing, and financial storytelling skills.
- Proven ability to manage client expectations and deliver measurable PR outcomes.
- Well-connected with financial, business, and capital markets journalists.
- Strong leadership, multitasking, and project management capabilities.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of managing high-pressure and time-sensitive situations.
