Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, influencers, and industry partners.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, statements, and communication materials.
- Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews, press briefings, and press conferences.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare PR performance reports and insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, leadership, and product teams to align messaging.
- Handle crisis communication and reputation management when required.
- Plan and execute media events, product launches, and public announcements.
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership, brand storytelling, and media features.
- Track industry trends and competitor media coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- 58 years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or media relations.
- Proven experience managing media relationships and securing press coverage.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in agency or corporate PR environment.
- Existing network of media contacts.
- Familiarity with PR tools, media monitoring platforms, and analytics tools.
Experience with digital PR and social media communication strategies.
