Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Public Relations Intern role based in the Pune District. The Public Relations Intern will support the development and execution of PR campaigns, including drafting press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, and other communication materials. Responsibilities include monitoring media coverage, maintaining media lists, researching industry trends, and helping coordinate events or influencer activities. The intern will assist with day-to-day account tasks such as preparing reports, tracking campaign performance, and supporting client presentations. This role involves close collaboration with the PR and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and strong brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Ability to draft and edit press releases and related media materials with clarity and accuracy.
- Foundational knowledge of public relations, including campaign support and brand reputation building.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal collaboration and external outreach.
- Basic understanding of media relations and strategic communications, including working with journalists and aligning messages with client goals.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with digital tools and social media platforms; familiarity with PR or media monitoring tools is an advantage.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative on projects.
