Public Relations Intern

Role Description The Public Relations Intern role at Level Up PR is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh, India. The intern will assist with drafting press releases, preparing media pitches, and supporting the coordination of PR campaigns for personal brands. Daily work includes conducting research on industry trends, maintaining media lists, tracking coverage, and helping manage communication across email and social channels. The intern will collaborate with the team on brainstorming sessions, support event or campaign logistics, and contribute to reports that measure campaign performance. This role offers hands-on exposure to strategic communications, media relations, and content development in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Public Relations and Strategic Communications, with an interest in B2B and personal branding.
• Ability to draft clear, compelling Press Releases and other written PR materials.
• Effective Communication skills, including professional writing, presentation, and interpersonal interaction.
• Basic understanding of Media Relations, including engaging with journalists, bloggers, and other stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Enthusiasm for learning, openness to feedback, and a collaborative mindset.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
