What This Role Involves
You will work alongside a senior team on mandates that include corporate positioning, issue management, media engagement, and thought leadership. The role involves both thinking and doing: researching, writing, tracking, and engaging across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support corporate communication strategies through media research, content development, and outreach
- Draft briefing notes, media pitches, responses, FAQs, and backgrounders
- Monitor news cycles, identify reputational risks, and track client coverage
- Maintain and update journalist databases, industry notes, and press kits
- Assist in preparing clients for media interactions and public statements
- Participate in internal and external meetings, keeping tasks and timelines on track
- Account Management & Client Servicing
Clients in sectors : Education, Logistics, Auto, Fintech, Manufacturing, Startups, Tech / AI, Lifestyle to name a few
You're likely a good fit if you:
- Are an excellent communicator (written + verbal) with a nose for nuance
- Can break down complex issues into clear, actionable ideas
- Are thorough with research and comfortable working with limited information
- Stay calm under pressure and are quick to adapt
- Take ownership of tasks and timelines without being micromanaged
- Are interested in how companies shape public perception, handle scrutiny, and build credibility over time
Must Haves:
- 6 months to 2 years experience in a PR agency
- Exposure to corporate affairs, journalism
- Understanding of India's media and business landscape
