Job Description

Location: Mumbai / Delhi

Reports to: Founder

Role Summary

  • Own and build the public narrative of Just In Time across media, culture, and growth phases.
  • This is not a press release role. This is brand positioning at scale.
  • You will shape how the brand is perceived as it expands nationally and prepares for its next stage of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Media Strategy

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across business, lifestyle, and culture media
  • Develop quarterly communication narratives aligned with brand milestones
  • Lead all press engagement for store launches, ambassador campaigns, partnerships
  • Manage crisis communications

Brand Messaging

  • Develop core messaging frameworks
  • Ensure consistency across interviews, releases, leadership communication
  • Own ambassador narrative alignment

Reputation & Coverage

  • Secure tier-1 media placements
  • Drive business and retail press coverage
  • Monitor sentiment and media analytics

Content & Editorial

  • Oversee press materials, founder interviews, leadership talking points
  • Work with internal marketing team to align external messaging

What We're Looking For

  • 58 years in PR / communications (retail, luxury, or consumer preferred)
  • Strong journalist relationships
  • Ability to think in narratives, not announcements
  • Calm under pressure
  • Strong editorial judgment
