Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and strategic Public Relations Manager to lead media relations, manage client communications, and drive impactful PR campaigns. The ideal candidate will have strong media relationships, excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts while delivering consistent results.
Key Responsibilities
Media Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with print, digital, broadcast, and trade media.
- Proactively pitch stories, features, interviews, and thought leadership pieces.
- Secure consistent and high-quality media coverage aligned with client objectives.
- Monitor media trends and news opportunities relevant to clients.
Client & Account Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Develop PR strategies and monthly communication plans.
- Manage day-to-day client servicing, calls, and reviews.
- Ensure timely delivery of all client commitments.
Content & Messaging
- Draft and review press releases, media pitches, backgrounders, Q&As, and key messages.
- Ensure all communication aligns with brand tone and positioning.
- Support crisis communication and reputation management when required.
Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute PR campaigns, product launches, events, and press conferences.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Track campaign performance and prepare coverage and impact reports.
Team & Process Management
- Guide and mentor junior team members.
- Review team deliverables for quality and accuracy.
- Support business development through proposals and presentations.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Established media contacts across relevant beats.
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
