Public Relations Account Executive

Role Description The Public Relations Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Chandigarh, India. This role involves managing client accounts, developing PR strategies, and executing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and credibility. Daily responsibilities include media outreach, drafting press releases and pitches, coordinating interviews or features, and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and media outlets. The Account Executive will collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm creative ideas, plan campaigns, create and refine content, and monitor coverage and performance metrics. The role also includes preparing client reports, tracking results, and ensuring timely delivery of all PR activities in line with client objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong public relations and communications skills, including media relations, press release writing, and stakeholder management.
• 1-2 years of experience
• Experience with content creation and editorial work, such as drafting articles, social media copy, and branded messaging.
• Strategic planning and campaign management abilities, including brainstorming, project coordination, and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with digital platforms and basic knowledge of social media, online reputation management, and brand visibility tactics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior agency or client-facing experience in PR or marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
